Step Install the Software

Install the FireSync software to access the reference design manuals for each toolkit. The manual for laser triangulation demonstrates how to use either the Standard or Advanced toolkits using either the monochrome RC740 camera, or the monochrome RC340 camera, with 6mm focal length lens.

Step Select a Reference Design

Included on the FireSync software disk are reference design manuals for each toolkit. These designs demonstrate how to use either the Standard or Advanced toolkits to build an application sensor using different components.

Step Select and Assemble Components

Select the type of camera and light source you want to use for the application and assemble them onto the mounting frame. Add any other necessary components and connect the various cables.

Step Calibrate the assembly using FireSync Factory

After the components are all assembled, calibrate the setup using FireSync Factory Application. The calibration step ensures the setup is properly focused, aligned and color balanced.

Step Set Application Parameters

Set the software application parameters to process the data and output results the way you want.
